Tanya Davenport is Atlanta born and raised. Like all proud Atlantans, she believes in giving back. That’s why she volunteers with her church and with organizations like Hands on Atlanta. No stranger to advocacy, Tanya has spent more than 20 years supporting children and adults with unmet mental health needs, as well as speaking out for reasonable accommodations in the school system and the greater community.
Tanya has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from University of Phoenix and a Peer Support Specialist certification from Georgia Mental Health Consumer Network. She has more than 20 years’ experience in mental health service in Metro Atlanta. In her free time, Tanya loves to read, dance, and spend time with family.
