
Shona Shaw, MSW
DIRECTOR OF HOMELESS SERVICES
Originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, Shona Shaw moved to Atlanta in 2007 to pursue her undergraduate degree at Clark Atlanta University. Upon graduation, she worked in fundraising and case management with several companies in the nonprofit sector, including United Way and Big Brothers Big Sisters. She received her master's degree in social work from the University of Southern California in 2019. Shona then moved into professional roles as Case Manager and Program Manager at Gateway Center's Evolution Center and Trinity Women's Center, respectively, where she spent six years advocating for men and families experiencing homelessness. Shona is committed to being a part of the change for Atlanta's unsheltered community and it brings her tremendous joy to serve the mission of Intown Cares. When Shona is not working, she enjoys delicious vegetarian meals and adding to her sneaker collection.
