Lindsey Barranco, PhD, is a Behavioral Scientist in the Prevention Practice and Translation Branch of the Division of Violence Prevention. She has over 20 years of experience implementing and evaluating behavioral and systems-level programs, practices, and policies. In her current role, she provides leadership and subject matter expertise in the implementation, adaptation, and evaluation of evidence-informed prevention strategies. Prior to CDC, she provided technical assistance to states and local communities providing policy, program and evaluation guidance to homeless systems of care and programs. Lindsey received her PhD in Clinical-Community Psychology from the University of South Carolina where her dissertation explored different models of Permanent Supportive Housing.
