Josh Carlson
GRANTS MANAGER
After graduating from Georgia State University in 2012 with a degree in Political Science, Josh Carlson moved to New York City and worked for 2 years as a job developer providing vocational rehabilitation services to people with disabilities. After this he worked for 3 years in the New York City shelter system as a case manager and housing specialist, in a 200 bed mental illness/substance abuse shelter. In March 2019, Josh moved back to Atlanta and started working with Intown as a street outreach case manager, connecting homeless individuals to services and shelter in the community and navigating them through the housing process. Josh and his wife Winnie live in Oakland City with their two dogs, Penny and Luna.
