
Ebony McClendon
DIRECTOR OF FOOD PROGRAMS
Ebony McClendon is the Director of Food Programs and a dedicated advocate for youth and families, bringing over seven years of experience in community leadership and program development before joining Intown Cares. Originally from the South Side of Chicago, she earned her bachelor’s degree in Human Development & Family Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and is pursuing a master’s in Organizational Leadership from Colorado State University.
Before stepping into her role at Intown, Ebony was an Executive Director with the Boys & Girls Club of Metro Atlanta, where she focused on creating impactful programs for young people and connected with community partners to provide resources to families. A former NCAA Division I All-American track athlete and Team USA Bobsled & Skeleton competitor, Ebony carries the discipline and teamwork from her athletic career into her work. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending time with friends, staying active, and traveling to new places.
