Dikeeshea Witherspoon, CPS

HOMELESS SERVICES CASE MANAGER

My name is DiKeeshea pronounced (die-key-she-uh)! Of course, I make sure to put that in there for those who might struggle to pronounce my name. I was born and raised in Oregon, recently moved to Atlanta Georgia November of 2023. I am a mother of a marvelous daughter named Egypt. I hold credentials in Oregon as a Peer Support Specialist PSS, Certified Recovery Mentor II CRMII, Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor CADC, Traditional Health Worker THW, and  Qualified Mental Health Associate QMHA-R. I am very proud of the work that I put in to obtain these credentials; although I do have to start all over here in Georgia, I am ready for the challenge. I graduated from Portland Community College in 2021 with my associate degree in Addiction Studies and General Studies. My plan is to attend an HBCU to become a Trauma Mental Health Therapist specializing in working with children and incarcerated women who have been sexually abused. My passion is to help folks that suffer from mental health, addiction, homelessness, and being different. I love to exercise mainly for the help it serves to my mental health, keeping it slim is a plus as well. My favorite food is Mexican food, I am a pescatarian most of the time, I am a Zumba instructor (let's dance), and I love being a Black woman who doesn't look like the norm, hence the green hair!!!
